Santification Week
Santification week has been a blessing to me and i'm really glad that i made the effort to go. For the past few weeks, i've been feeling down but the word that was shared by the pastors really spoke to me. I've learnt so much from it. The things that were bothering me no longer affect me because I've learnt to just surrender everything to Him. I admit, the start of the year was rocky and there were times when i felt that it wasn't a year of victory at all. But now, i understand. I know God put me through tough times to help me grow and mature. Just like a lump of clay. In order for it to be a beautiful vase, it has to go through the kneading and pounding of the potter's hands and the heat of the fiery furnace. I see myself as that lump of clay and God is my potter. He's moulding me. A masterpiece in the making.
God not only worked in my life during the santification week, but he worked in Andrea's life too. During the short three days, i've seen her grow a lot spiritually. Her faith and love for the Lord has been a testimony to me. In a way, she was a great blessing to me. I'm so proud of her. She's really making the effort to lead a life that is pleasing to the Lord. My prayer for her is that she will not stray from the path that He has made for her. I know He has great plans for her...=)
